Portland Brew is probably the most chill of East Nashville's coffee shops. It's a great place to chat, study, work on computer, or meet a larger group of people (ton of space upstairs).
Josh says: The Zucchini cake is awesome.

Hours: Monday – Saturday 7am-7pm
Relative strengths: Great space and helpful staff.
Vibe: somewhat like the undergraduate library (some people working/studying, some people hanging out) but with good coffee
