Greenwood Neighbors is quiet streets between Gallitan Rd and Ellington Parkway. The people are a mix of long-term residents, new families, and renovators.
We bought our first house in Greenwood because of its a) convenience to the destinations of 5-points area, Gallitan Rd, and Downtown and b) its affordability, c) it's relative peacefulness.
Location/Summary
To the north is Douglas Ave, a residential street.
To the east is Ellington Parkway, creating a barrier.
To the south is West Eastland/Cleveland St., a residential street.
To the west is Gallitan Rd, with a chinese restaurant (Hunan), a Rite Aid, a drive-up pizza place (Itza pizza) and a Kroger across the street.
At the corner of Cleveland and McFerrin, there seems to be retail properties in transition. There might be new food/retail businesses in the near future.
