Maxwell Heights, like Greenwood neighbors, is a mix of long-term residents, new families and renovators. For young people who are attracted to East Nashville, but not able to swing a large mortgage, Maxwell Heights is attractive. It has plenty of historic architecture and is super convenient to downtown & commerial development hot spots (5points, UglyMugs/Rosepepper, etc) in East Nashville and Downtown.
Location/Summary
To the North is West Eastland/Cleveland St., a residential street.
To the East is Ellington Parkway and Douglas Park, creating a barrier.
To the South is Main St/Gallitan Rd, East Lit High/Jr. High school and the 5-points area.
To the West is Gallitan Rd, including Mrs. Winners and Calyspo Cafe.
In the middle is almost all houses and neighbors.
